ACT CONVERSATION SERIES 2
"ACT Strategies"

ACT is quite often thought of as a therapy, but it is much more than that.  It is an approach to psychological health and wellness.  This approach includes a number of strategies, many of which are evidence-based, to help foster greater psychological flexibility in the service of living a values-guided life.  In this conversation, we explore the use of ACT intervention strategies and their use.  This experiential conversation assumes some foundational knowledge of the ACT model (see Conversation Series 1) and a willingness to explore ACT strategies as they apply to your own life and those you serve in your clinical practice.  This is an opportunity to develop skills in using ACT interventions wisely and appropriately.  Space will be limited to 6 participants.  The conversation may be cancelled (or rescheduled) if we do not reach a 6 participant minimum. All that is asked is a willingness to learn, share, and grow.

  • Space for the scheduled dates is limited to no more than 6 people (first come, first serve).
  • Mental health professionals, graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, life coaches, and others in the helping professions are welcome!
  • A fee of $20 USD (paid via PayPal) is required at the time of registration.
  • To register, complete the information below.
