As an active researcher and practitioner of  ACT and contemplative practices, John is the author of several popular books, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Anxiety Disorders, The Mindfulness & Acceptance Workbook for Anxiety (2nd edition), ACT on Life, Not On Anger, and Your Life on Purpose.  His latest book, Anxiety Happens, is for anyone who gets tripped up now and then by anxiety and fear.

Across the United States and abroad, John offers talks, keynotes to various groups and organizations. John and his wife Jamie also co-lead workshops for the public and mental health professionals on the application of ACT and mindfulness practices to empower and awaken the human spirit, promote human thriving, psychological health and wellness, and meaningful life changes.

Using Skype and Zoom, John offers regular clinical supervision and consultation for mental health professionals who would like to deepen their knowledge and skills using ACT in their mental health practice.  He also offers ACT-based life coaching, personal consultation, and individual therapy (therapy is limited to New York residents only) online.
